YoungBoy Never Broke Again has begun a new chapter in his career by releasing his debut album, Until Death Call My Name. The LP comes after some delays, likely caused by his recent legal woes.
The new album includes guest appearances by Future, Birdman and Lil Baby. The project doesn’t feature YoungBoy’s recently released single “Nicki Minaj.”

Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again hit the ‘Gram on Thursday (January 11) to announce his debut album, Until Death Call My Name. The iTunes pre-order link shows an expected release date of March 2.
“Not official cover #preorder album now #linkinbio,” YoungBoy said in the caption.
With the release of three mixtapes and a collaborative project with Moneybagg Yo in 2017, YoungBoy had a busy year. In addition to his AI YoungBoy project making the cut for HipHopDX’s Best Mixtapes EPs Of 2017, the mixtape also hit #24 on the Billboard 200 chart.
His “No Smoke” and “Untouchable” records, which are both featured on the AI YoungBoy mixtape, also charted. “No Smoke” peaked at #29 on Billboard’s Hot RB/Hip-Hop Songs chart, while “Untouchable” peaked at #39.
On the visual end, YoungBoy is continuing to rack up views on YouTube. His most recent music video, “Outside Today” has received more than 6 million views in less than a week.
He also dropped “Love Is Poison” on his channel to go with the album announcement.
