In the book, Fox describes her sex life with 50 as being “PG-13.”

“Most of the time, I would be the one initiating sex, because I really enjoyed making love with him,” she wrote, according to the Daily News.

Fox reportedly had no intention of discussing their sex life in the book but did so because 50 has repeatedly “invented stories” about her.

Sean Price’s death was a major blow to the Hip Hop community, but the Boot Camp Clik member recorded a ton of material before his passing that’s helped to keep his name in the public eye. Price’s effort in the studio has allowed for multiple posthumous releases, including 2017’s Imperius Rex album and a new collaborative EP with Illa Ghee due out on March 16.

Ghee revealed the EP’s release date alongside Price’s wife Bernadette in a video uploaded on Tuesday (March 13). The project, titled Metal Detectors, was already in the works before Price passed away three years ago.

“Here ye here ye… Me @illaghee2k Bern @bernadettealwayshumble has an announcement to make!!!” Ghee wrote in Instagram caption to the video. “The EP ‘Metal Detectors’ will be dropping March 16th 2018. oh my fuckin gawd.”

Duck Down Music, Price’s longtime label, is handling the release. The imprint, which was co-founded by Dru-Ha and Boot Camp Clik’s Buckshot, also shared the above video on its social media platforms.

In a 2015 interview with HipHopDX, Ghee said the grieving process following Price’s death was a significant obstacle to completing Metal Detectors.

“I just have to get my mind right before I deal with that,” he explained. “I kinda chilled out with it for a minute because after losing a friend, I just want to chill and grieve for a minute until I’m feeling a lot better.”

No additional details, such as the tracklist or cover art, for the EP have been revealed at this time.

Arrest Made After Bomb Threat Causes Cancellation Of The Roots’ SXSW Event

Austin, TX – The Austin Police Department has arrested a man suspected of making a bomb threat that resulted in the cancellation of The Roots and Friends Jam at SXSW. Trevor Ingram, 26, was apprehended on Saturday night (March 17) and booked on charges of terroristic threat, a third-degree felony.

Police say that after their search, no threat was found in the area around the Fair Market venue where the event was scheduled to take place. Bud Light, which was hosting and sponsoing the show, chose to cancel it due to safety concerns.

As Austin’s annual South By Southwest (SXSW) music festival begins to wind down, it’s ending on a terrifying note.

On Saturday night (March 17), The Roots’ performance was cancelled following an alleged bomb threat. At the JW Marriott hotel in downtown Austin, where The Roots were staying, bomb-sniffing dogs were called in to thoroughly search the premises.

The Roots’ James Poyser told HipHopDX, “So crazy … God is good tho … we’re all safe.”

A press statement obtained by DX reads, “Due to a security concern, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Bud Light x The Roots SXSW Jam. After working proactively with SXSW, the Austin Police Department, and other authorities, Bud Light believes this is the best course of action to ensure the safety of our guests, staff and artists. We appreciate your understanding.

“We are truly sorry to have to cancel the event but we felt it was necessary to take all safety precautions.”

The Roots were scheduled to perform alongside Ludacris, Dermot Kennedy, Jessie Reyez, Rapsody, Tank the Bangas, Moon Taxi, and other surprise guests at the Bud Light x The Roots Friends Jam. The event was being held at the Fair Market on E 5th Street.

Questlove, who frequently tends to his social media accounts, reportedly addressed the situation in a since-deleted tweet.

“Uh, welp can’t say much but for those in Austin waiting in line to see us tonight,” he wrote. “Tonight’s show has been cancelled. They’ll make official announcement but I’d rather save y’all the trouble of waiting in line.”

One Twitter user responded to The Roots’ drummer, “Safety first.”

Several attendees also took their concerns to Twitter.

Mathematics Responds To Reported Lawsuit Over Wu-Tang Clan’s "People Say"

Mathematics, the longtime DJ and producer of Wu-Tang Clan, has addressed a recent report claiming ’60s soul group The Diplomats are suing Wu-Tang over a sample.

TMZ claims The Diplomats — not to be confused with the Dipset collective — are suing due to the unauthorized use of their song “I’ve Got The Kind Of Love” in Wu-Tang’s 2017 single “People Say” featuring Redman. Mathematics, who produced the track and the entire Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues compilation album, acknowledged a sample claim has been made but said he was unaware of any lawsuit regarding the matter.

“I was made aware of the ‘People Say’ sample claim in December,” he wrote via Twitter on Saturday (March 17). “To my knowledge, my attorney and The Diplomats attorney have been working closely and in good faith to resolve this matter. I am not aware of a pending lawsuit regarding this matter nor have I been served with one.”

TMZ’s report cites court documents, which say The Diplomats are seeking damages and want Wu-Tang to stop selling the song.
