A$AP Rocky Unveils Cover Art For “Testing” Album

During an interview with GQ back in October, Rocky spoke on the premise for his new album.

“My new album is really about testing new sounds,” he said at the time. “People are scared to test new sounds, so they go with what’s current ‘cause it’s the easy thing to do. The top 100 songs sound a certain way. People cater more to that because it’s a bigger demographic behind that, or it’s a guaranteed demographic behind that. I prefer to experiment and have my crowd grow with me and to reach new crowds. I don’t just rap—I actually make music. That’s why it takes time. These sonics represent me.”

Rocky has been releasing a flurry of songs in recent months. He dropped “Herojuana Blunts” on 4/20 and “Bad Company” with BlocBoy JB in late March. Before that, Rocky released a number of “testing” tracks, including “5 Stars,” “Above” and “Money Bags Freestyle.”

Testing currently has no confirmed release date. Rocky had said the LP would drop “for sure” before the end of 2017, but it failed to materialize.

Pusha T Declares Upcoming "King Push" Album To Be "Flawless"

Pusha T is feeling confident about his upcoming album, at least according to some self-congratulatory comments made in a group chat, which were recently made public.

The former Clipse rapper, whose real name is Terrence Thornton, called the album “flawless” and “so goooooooooood” in messages revealed by Def Jam AR Steven Victor.

Victor himself backed Push up, agreeing with the “flawless” assessment and deeming it the album of year.

Push’s first solo studio album, My Name Is My Name, dropped in 2013 and featured a reunited Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) handling production duties. King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude dropped in 2015 and was billed as a “warm-up” to the upcoming King Push.

Kanye West, who will be producing King Push, said the album is set to drop May 25, which will be followed by a solo Kanye project, a Kanye and Kid Cudi dual project, a Nas album, and a Teyana Taylor project, all overseen by Kanye.

Cardi B Delivers Ominous Warning In "Be Careful" Video

After promising a video for “Be Careful” on Sunday (May 19), Cardi B has kept her word and delivered the cinematic event.

The roughly four-minute visual shows the Bronx rap princess pulling up to a run-down old church somewhere in the middle of a desert. Dressed in wedding attire, she enters to church to find her suitor waiting at the altar. They tie the knot but somewhere along the line, he betrays her.

The next scene sees Cardi at her husband’s funeral and rapping about infidelity before driving off into the sunset.

“Be Careful” video coming tomorrow on my youtube page. Love ya ?

“Be Careful” comes from the 25-year-old’s debut album, Invasion Of Privacy, which dropped in April. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release.
