Trouble Releases Major Label Debut “Edgewood” With Mike WiLL Made-It

Trouble finally hit the big time thanks to Mike WiLL Made-It, who signed the Atlanta rapper to Ear Drummer/Interscope Records. Now, Trouble has quickly followed up on his recently announced signing by dropping his major label debut, Edgewood.

The 16-track release is executive produced by Mike WiLL, who previously noted how the project was completed in just three or four days. Trouble also gets help from some of the biggest names in the music industry as Drake, The Weeknd, Quavo, Boosie Badazz and Fetty Wap make guest appearances.

Check out the Edgewood stream, cover art and tracklist below.

(The original version of this article was published on March 22, 2018 and can be found below.)

Trouble hit Instagram on Wednesday (March 22) to unveil the tracklist for Edgewood, his upcoming collaborative project with Mike WiLL Made-It. It comes after the producer announced via Twitter last week that the project will arrive on Friday (March 23).

The 16-track effort — which features Drake, The Weeknd and Quavo, among others — serves as Trouble’s first release since signing to Mike WiLL’s Ear Drummer Records imprint earlier this month.

Edgewood features the previously released “Real Is Rare (Edgewood)” and “Bring It Back” featuring Drake. An official music video for the latter is on the way, according to Mike WiLL.

During a conversation with the L.A. Leakers last March, Mike WiLL revealed it took Trouble and himself just “three or four days” to record their collaborative project.

In mid-January, Trouple was released from a Georgia jail after serving nearly two months for drug possession.

Check out the cover art and tracklist for Edgewood below.

Westside Gunn Teams With Mr. Green For "FLYGOD Is Good… All The Time" EP

Westside Gunn inked a deal with Eminem’s Shady Records last year, but the Griselda Records artist apparently had one more indie release in his pocket. The Buffalo rhymer has linked up with producer Mr. Green — who is probably best known for his collaborative albums with Pacewon, Malik B of The Roots and Young Zee — for a new EP titled FLYGOD Is Good… All The Time.

The six-track EP, which comes to fans courtesy of Nature Sounds, keeps it simple with no guests. Gunn takes care of the raps and Green handles all the production.

“Westside Gunn is incredible, a true mastermind,” Mr. Green said in a statement. “He has this sound that is completely one-of-a-kind, just gives you that indescribable feeling we are all looking for in hip-hop these days.”

Chief Keef Drops Surprise Mixtape “The Leek, Vol. 5”

Just a few weeks after dropping The Leek 4, Chief Keef is back with the fifth installment of his long-running mixtape series (which he started back in 2015).

The Leek, Vol. 5 features 17 tracks with no listed guest appearances. Meanwhile, production is handled by the likes of 808 Mafia, Metro Boomin, and Chief Keef himself.

The 22-year-old rapper is continuing to release new music despite being entangled in a number of legal issues.

In late December, Keef was hit with an arrest warrant by a judge in Los Angeles after he failed to attend a court appearance for a recent fender bender case.

Back in June, the Chicago native was arrested in South Dakota on marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession charges. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.

Check out the stream, cover art and tracklist for The Leek, Vol. 5 below, or purchase the mixtape via iTunes here.
