Eminem Faces His Demonic Alter Ego In "Fall" Video

Eminem continues rolling out the surprises with a new video for “Fall,” one of 13 new tracks from his recently released Kamikaze album.

The visual begins with Royce Da 5’9 and Em cruising around the city late at night and Em getting bombarded on his iPhone with negative reactions to his last project, Revival. As a couple sits staring at their iPad and reading yet another negative Revival review, they suddenly drop it and a creepy black hand emerges from the screen.

The black figure starts following Slim Shady and before too long, Em breaks into a sprint as the figure continues chasing him.

“Fall” has received both positive and negative feedback. Em calls out a slew of rappers, including Joe Budden, Earl Sweatshirt and Brand Nubian’s Lord Jamar.

But it’s his use of a homophobic slur aimed at Tyler The Creator that had the song’s collaborator, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, regretting his decision to be a part of the album.

Young Buck On Transgender Viral Video Rumors: "Ain’t Shit Gay About Me"

Following the rumors that arose from a viral video posted by a hacked account over the weekend, claiming to show G-Unit member Young Buck involved in a sexual act with a transgender woman, the Nashville MC took to Instagram to clear the air. “Let me address this real fast real quick … ain’t shit gay about me,” he said.

A post shared by Baller Alert (@balleralert) on Sep 3, 2018 at 9:08pm PDT

“I ain’t got a problem with no gay people,” he continued, “[but] there ain’t no motherfuckin’ tape of no motherfuckin’ punk sucking my dick.”

The clip in question, originally posted by a transgender woman who goes by the name GlamourPurfek, didn’t show Buck’s face — and failed to conclusively prove much beyond some alleged back-and-forth social communication and that he also owned the same jacket seen in the short clip.

GlamourPurfek posted a video on Sunday (September 3) apologizing to Buck — who she referred to by first name — and his family, and goes on to explain that the account was hacked after she provided her login details to an acquaintance to help get her verified. She also added that legal charges are being brought against the unnamed individual.

In his response, Buck seemed to be the most irritated by the series of videos posted by past collaborator and fellow Nashvillian Cub da CookUpBoss, the most vocal to run with the “Young Buck gay” narrative.

“Since you want to jump on the Instagram and play all these old gangsta ass roles like you that, why don’t you pull up and keep that same energy nigga,” Buck said, addressing Cub da CookUpBoss. “You give me the location, and I’ll give you the location.”

Cub quickly responded via Instagram Live, noting “your goons ain’t like my goons … they don’t play that shit,” while doubling down on his earlier comments.

The clip that started this war of IG words can be seen down below.

Nicki Minaj Throws More Jabs In Album Sales Feud With Travis Scott

Nicki Minaj continued to air out her beef with Travis Scott during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (September 4).

Black Barbie was questioned about her recent tirade against Scott, who she believes gamed the system to maintain Astroworld’s No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. DeGeneres mentioned Nicki was upset about Queen landing at No. 2 on the chart but received some pushback.

“But why do people always say upset or angry?” Nicki retorted. “When someone says how they feel they’re not always upset or angry.”

DeGeneres then asked how it made Nicki feel and got a blunt answer.

“I felt like I wanted to punch him in his fucking face!” the Young Money MC said. “It’s not anger, it’s just what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s fair. I’ve had a No. 2 album, and I never cared. It’s just that when you have a No. 2 album to someone who is selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that’s not even announced yet. It feels like you’re being tricked.”

She continued, “It feels like someone is playing a game and beating you at a game as opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music … He sold a lot of t-shirts and sweaters and tour passes, and so we not gonna have that. So, I wanna say he didn’t have the No. 1 album. Queen was the No. 1 album. And by the way, I lost out on 12 hours of sales in my first week because it was a secret album.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Nicki discussed her current relationship status. She clarified her past with Nas, revealed they’re still friends and briefly touched on her time with Meek Mill.

Hip Hop Reacts To Nike Boycott Controversy Following Colin Kaepernick Ad

Social media has been in an uproar since Nike revealed Colin Kaepernick as one of the faces of its new ad campaign celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Just Do It.”

The former NFL star, who has become a symbol of social justice since taking a knee during the National Anthem in 2016, shared a photo of the campaign featuring his likeness to his Twitter account on Monday (September 3).

“Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” he wrote. “#JustDoIt.”

Donald Trump enthusiasts and other detractors were outraged the retail behemoth unveiled the campaign on Labor Day. In an effort to boycott Nike, people started posting photos of themselves burning their Nike gear or simply cutting the logo out of their clothing.

Naturally, plenty of Twitter users took the opportunity to mock those boycotting the brand.

However, it wasn’t without consequence. According to MSN, Nike stocks plummeted more than two percent since the ad was unveiled.

But, any ramifications from the Nike boycott hasn’t stopped Kaep’s supporters from being vocal about their stance.

Several members of the Hip Hop and RB community got in on the action, including George Clinton, Chuck D, DJ Khaled, KXNG Crooked, CunninLynguists’ Kno, Blockhead and more.

Check out their reactions below.
