Destiny’s Child is reportedly reuniting at Coachella Valley Music Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday night (April 14).

According to Page Six, an inside source said, “Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child are reuniting. It was teased, rumored, squashed, so nothing much else was said … But it’s happening.”

The source also added, “[It’s] to make up for the fact she was unable to perform last year [when pregnant]. The girls really wanted it and felt they owed it to the fans.”

Destiny’s Child — Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland — formally disbanded in 2006 after they wrapped up the Destiny Fulfilled… and Lovin’ It Tour.

Formed in 1997, the RB trio released five albums, culminating with 2004’s Destiny Fulfilled.

The group’s third album, 2001’s Survivor, spawned the massive singles”Independent Women,” Survivor” and “Bootylicious.”

In 2013, Destiny’s Child reunited for Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Coachella’s organizers have confirmed fans are able to livestream Beyoncé’s headlining performance on YouTube. The Lemonade singer hits the stage at 11:10 p.m. PST on Channel 1 of the YouTube streams.

Dee-1 Addresses Male Manager Who Tried To Sleep With Him

In the latest installment of Soulful Sundays, New Orleans rapper Dee-1 joins HipHopDX’s Trent Clark to address controversial bars from his album Slingshot David, the reception he’s received from the LP, deleting curses from his vocabulary and much more.

“People are calling my album a classic,” he tells Clark, clarifying that he would never be cocky enough to make that proclamation himself.

“I got in this game to be different,” he notes about the lack of profanity on the album. “I’m just trying to be a better human being. I looked at the areas of my life where I wanted to improve, and one of them was alleviating cursing from of my vocabulary.”

As Dee explains, once he was able to do that in his day-to-day, not curing on the mic was natural. He also described the album’s intro, “Destiny,” as the toughest song to write, requiring him to record three versions.

“I started crying writing that,” he noted. “So much had been building up trying to get the album out … [I was] pushing to keep my vision and life story intact. What if this is the last album I put out? I wanted to make sure it was reflective my life experiences … of my journey.”

During the conversation, the veteran MC addressed — and confirmed — a situation from the song “The Devil Playground” in which he rhymes: “this man said if I slept with him he’d manage me … y’all know him, I spat in his face and said, ‘Boy don’t play with me!’”

“It’s all about leverage in this industry,” Dee explained without getting specific about the identity of the person. “That’s something I went through … I need y’all to know there are some clowns in this game, and they’ll try to play you. I know I’m not the only person who’s been through [a situation like] that.”

The Louisiana native also spoke about his 5 Fingers Of Death freestyle on Sway In The Morning , which seemed to raise his stock in the eyes of many.

“When they threw on Freeway’s [“What I Do], that’s when I knew it was about to get ugly,” he said. “That’s one of my five favorite beats of all time.”

Azealia Banks Alleges She Was Sexually Assaulted

Azealia Banks has alleged she was raped over the weekend. In a message shared on Instagram, the polarizing artist became emotional while speaking to her followers about being the victim of sexual assault.

“Lowkey just got raped,” she wrote. “Feel like dirt.”

In the audio uploaded to Instagram, Banks was in distress. She claimed she’d been roofied by someone and felt “partially to blame” for what happened.

“I just feel like a dumbass, like such a dummy,” she said in one clip. “I just want to like fucking disappear right now. I feel really bad. I don’t think I’m gonna be putting out more music.”

She continued, “I’m gonna delete all my accounts because I’m just like embarrassed. I’m gonna delete everything, and I guess I’ll just come back when I get it together. I just feel like really broken down and … just like when I’m rebuilding myself as an artist. I don’t know how to face [y’all].”

Banks provided some clarity in a message uploaded on Saturday (April 14), noting she was safe now and believes someone spiked her drink.

“I’ve never felt that type of intoxication in my life,” she wrote. “I woke up my throat was in pins and needles. It’s under control now my brothers and friends are here. I’m going to be fine don’t panic guys. I love you. I def got drugged in my drink but I’m waking up again.”

Kanye West Mocks Nike In Brief Return To Twitter

Kanye West, who is firmly entrenched at Adidas with his Yeezy brand, briefly ended his Twitter hiatus to fire a shot at Nike. ‘Ye took aim at Nike’s M2K Monarch, insinuating the design was jacking his Yeezy 700 sneaker.

“Yeezy 700 Vibes,” he tweeted along with the facepalm and laughing emojis.

Kanye West hopped back on Twitter for a second to tweet this.

West’s return to Twitter didn’t last for long as he quickly deleted the tweet. He did leave up a retweet from Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, who welcomed ‘Ye back to the social media platform.

Last May, West deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts. In February, he hopped back on Instagram for the first time in months to share Valentine’s Day message for his wife, Kim Kardsahian-West. But he deleted the post soon after, just like he did with his Nike jab on Twitter.

West has largely remained out of the public eye while reportedly working on a new album. Despite keeping low profile as of late, he recently conducted an interview with his interior designer Axel Vervoordt for The Hollywood Reporter.
