Childish Gambino Recruits Vince Staples For New Tour Dates

Childish Gambino has recruited Vince Staples for additional dates on his upcoming North American tour, which kicks off in September in Atlanta.

These new dates are official and confirmed. Earlier this month, some media outlets reported additional tour dates with Tyler The Creator based on a flyer that popped up on a Childish Gambino fan account, but manager Fam Udeorji shut down the announcement as fake news.

“Stupid ass Billboard ran a story from a fake account and every music publication picked it up w/ no confirmation from real sources,” Udeorji tweeted. “The internet has no real consequences or accountability.”

Turns out there are in fact additional dates and Staples will be the special guest.

The Big Fish Theory recording artist will accompany Gambino on five extra shows starting in October in San Jose and wrapping up in Nashville. Rae Sremmurd will start the tour off with Gambino with their last show slated for September 30 in Vancouver.

T.I. & Kanye West Debate Politics & The MAGA Hat In Behind-The-Scenes Video

It appears the political debate between Kanye West and T.I. took place off wax too.

Days after the rhyming pair dropped “Ye vs. The People,” behind-the-scenes video of the two crafting the song and debating their sides has been released on KanyeWest.com

In the video, T.I. continued to question why Kanye would wear a “Make America Great Again” hat. At one point, the Us Or Else artist called Ye “thoughtless” for wearing it.

Kanye defended his choice to don the controversial hat, comparing his decision to wear it to as “a fight for equality.”

“Me putting the hat on forces an evolution … When I wear that hat it’s like a fight for equality,” Kanye said. “Like ‘Oh, I can wear this hat too.’ I think people get mad at me when I name my idols. I don’t say Michael Jordan. I say Disney … I did not wear that hat to hurt them. Half the shit Trump does, I don’t agree with.”

From there, T.I. asked “What half do you agree with?” ‘Ye didn’t offer a direct answer to the question, but instead seemed to commend Trump on his ability to inspire.

“It’s the ability to do what no one said you could do. To do the impossible. It is the most inspiring thing to me,” Kanye said.

Brockhampton Shares "Puppy" Album Details

Brockhampton is joining the fray in what’s shaping up to be a busy month for Hip Hop releases.

The self-proclaimed greatest boy band in the world’s fourth album, titled Puppy, is scheduled to come out in June, alongside expected releases from Drake, Nas, Teyana Taylor and Kanye West (plus Ye’s collaboration with Kid Cudi).

Brockhampton leader Kevin Abstract hit Twitter to share the release window and artwork that features group member Matt Champion. The exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.

A similar collage was shared by the group’s Twitter account back in March, along with a video where Jaden Smith announced the group had just signed with RCA.

Brockhampton, the self-proclaimed “greatest boy band in the world,” has turned to Twitter to announce their newest project.

On Tuesday (March 20), the Cali-based collective shared what appears to be a cover art image with the words “PUPPY” and “Summer 2018” written across it.

Although the tweet didn’t include any extra commentary, Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract did confirm PUPPY is an album. It would serve as the follow-up to the three-part Saturation series the group released last year.

“PUPPY IS THE ALBUM NAME YES THE GREATEST BOYBAND IN THE WORLD IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON ‘PUPPY’,” Abstract wrote.

News of PUPPY comes shortly after Brockhampton claimed a female “GOD” told them not to release its Team Effort album next week.

Quavo Charged With Battery In Las Vegas Brawl

Las Vegas, NV – Quavo has been charged with battery for his alleged role in a brawl on Sunday (April 29). According to The Blast, the Migos member and three other people were cited for battery against two employees at the Encore Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.

Video of the incident’s aftermath surfaced online over the weekend, but it was security footage that reportedly led to Quavo getting charged. Police claim the Hip Hop hitmaker was clearly involved in the fight after watching the tape.

Over the weekend, Atlanta rap trio Migos allegedly found themselves involved in yet another dust-up.

The physical exchange reportedly went down after the group performed at Drai’s Nightclub on Friday (April 27).

According to The Blast, the group and Cardi B headed back to the Encore Hotel and Casino after their performance. While in the valet area of the Las Vegas hotel, Quavo was reportedly asked to move his car.

From there, words were exchanged and a physical fight is said to have broken out. Cardi B was reportedly rushed to safety as the altercation broke out.

The entire group was reportedly kicked out of the hotel, where they were staying, after the brawl.

Additionally, The Blast obtained video of the chaotic moments after the fight. In the video footage, security can be seen scurrying around as onlookers observe the aftermath.

Following the alleged fight, The Blast was informed by the Las Vegas Police Department that they reported to the Encore Hotel at around 4 a.m. on Saturday (April 28). One person, possibly from Migos’ entourage, was cited and released.

As of Monday (April 30), members of Migos and Cardi B have remained mum on the details of the encounter.

Stalley’s Surprise To Daughter Goes "TODAY" Show Viral

Atlanta, GA – Devout Ohio rapper Stalley and a childhood friend have given their daughters the surprise of a lifetime.

Stalley and longtime friend Corey Walker introduced their young daughters via FaceTime four years ago. The two girls, Kylie Myricks and Jalyssa Walker, have spoken daily since and have been best friends for nearly half of their lives without ever meeting each other in person.

For the night of April 13, the two fathers arranged a secret meeting for the girls as a birthday gift to Kylie–with no knowledge on Jalyssa’s part either. After a minute of shock and wondering if the encounter was real, the two best friends finally embraced each other and were consumed by tears of joy.

Last night, me and my childhood friend @core330 surprised our daughters. They’ve been on FaceTime everyday for the past 3/4 years and never met in person. They drove 7 hours to surprise Kylie on her birthday and @princesslyssw had no clue either. Shout out to all the parents making it happen for your kids daily. The “two girls who made the world cry” have since gone viral and won over the hearts of social media.
