Did Lil Pump Sign With Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records?

New York, NY – Amid an ongoing bidding war for Lil Pump, it looks like Gucci Mane has locked down the “Gucci Gang” rapper for his 1017 Eskimo Records roster.

Despite offers from DJ Khaled and Epic Records, among others, Pump was spotted sporting a 1017 chain earlier this week, setting off rumors he had signed with the East Atlanta Santa.

Pump, who reportedly left Warner Bros. in January, was asking for at least $15 million to sign to a new label.

He told TMZ, “New deals on the way, bitch,” he said. “If you ain’t got 15 [million] don’t talk to me, bitch, at all. I don’t want no meeting unless you talking 15 and up. I don’t want to talk to nobody. Esketit! New deal on the way. New money on the way.”

Gucci Mane and Pump have yet to make it official on any of their social media accounts.

A bidding war for Lil Pump is apparently underway. The currently free agent has fielded offers from DJ Khaled and Gucci Mane, among others since parting ways with Warner Bros. Records. Now, the “Gucci Gang” sensation is claiming he won’t sign a record deal for less than $15 million. TMZ caught up with him as he was leaving the New York City-based jewelry store Avianne Co. and struck up a conversation about a possible deal.

“New deals on the way, bitch,” he said. “If you ain’t got 15 [million] don’t talk to me, bitch, at all. I don’t want no meeting unless you talking 15 and up. I don’t want to talk to nobody. Esketit! New deal on the way. New money on the way.”

Armed with an air of arrogance, Pump also said he’d been “talking to a lot of people” but didn’t mention any specifics. He then bragged about spending more than $10,000 on new chains.

The sixth annual JMBLYA Festival has its most stacked bill yet.

Organizers have announced the lineup for the 2018 edition, which includes Cardi B, J. Cole and Migos as headliners. The event also features the first confirmed post-prison release performance by Kevin Gates.

The Texas-based traveling festival runs from May 4-6 in Dallas, Austin and Houston. The H-Town portion marks the event’s return to the city for the first time since 2013.

In addition to the big headliners, the lineup also boasts some of a mixing of budding stars and prominent artists from the festival’s home base. Playboi Carti, Trippie Redd, Ski Mask The Slump God, Cozz, Killy and Jack Harlow represent the new generation of talent booked for the show.

UGK’s Bun B, Trae Tha Truth and DJ Mr. Rogers — three of the biggest names in Houston Hip Hop — are special guests scheduled to appear at the three-day event.

Last year’s JMBLYA drew 50,000 attendees to Fair Park in Dallas and Circuit of The Americas in Austin across two days. Chance The Rapper, Gucci Mane and Lil Uzi Vert were among the performers.

Kelis Reportedly Demanding More Child Support From Nas

Kelis and Nas are still arguing over the co-parenting arrangements for their 8-year-old son Knight, according to Radar Online. The former Mrs. Nasir Jones, who split from the Queens Hip Hop legend in 2009, filed legal documents asking for more than the $8,000 a month she already gets in child support.

She reportedly said Knight’s needs have changed since the original agreement was finalized five years ago. Although there’s no specific dollar amount, Kelis is asking for 50 percent of any school-related, child care and health care costs.

“The child support order in this case has been in place since our son was approximately 3 years old,” Kelis reportedly said in her declaration. “He is now 8 years old. His needs and expenditures have materially changes since the Judgment has been entered. I am informed and believe that Respondent’s income today would support a child support order in excess of $8,000 per month.”

As of now, there is no official ruling from a judge, but they are both due in court on April 4 to discuss the matter.

The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2010 after five years of marriage.

(The original version of this article was published on December 3, 2017 and can be found below.)

Although Nas and Kelis have been divorced for seven years, the former couple still has to co-parent their 8-year-old son Knight Jones. According to The Blast, Nas is accusing his ex-wife of preventing the Illmatic legend from seeing his child. Nas plans to take Kelis to court in an attempt to establish an official visitation schedule.

Nas claims he’s “tried to work cooperatively with Kelis over the years,” but singer-turned-chef only “allows” him to see his son “when she deems it convenient for her.”

He also said for months at a time, Kelis will “refuse to set up time for our son and me to spend time together.”

Nas’ proposed schedule includes time with his son on the first, third and fifth weekend of every month. Knight would spend Mother’s Day with Kelis and Father’s Day with Nas, and they’d each get to celebrate their individual birthday’s with the child.

Kelis filed for divorce in 2009 and it was finalized in 2010. In 2012, Nas opened up about the split.

“Life is crazy,” he told MTV. “I [wound] up paying more money to baby mommas than what some of my rap brothers and sisters make. I’ve always been away from too much limelight and that right there put me in your… No one’s exempt from people probing into your life once you get into the game.

“So it put a lot of my business out there, man. It was like, people weren’t thinking I was making that kind of money, and now they knew. I was always low key with it in a lot of ways. It was hard with people being all in your business, and it was just ugly. Divorce can be crazy.”

Nas and Kelis were married for five years.
