Alien Ye In Africa: Kanye West Builds Outdoor Studio In Uganda

Uganda, East Africa – Not long after his wild White House meeting with Donald Trump, Kanye West has officially landed in Africa. On Saturday (October 13), video started popping up of the G.O.O.D. Music boss dancing to African music and immersing himself in the culture.

But ‘Ye didn’t stop there. As he told TMZ Live, he was in Africa to finish his forthcoming album Yandhi. Subsequently, he quickly got to work on erecting a studio where he could record.

Consisting of a white dome with clear windows, the structure is able to house the entire studio with panoramic views of the Ugandan foliage.

‘Ye told TMZ “alien Ye” was back and he wanted to take his alter ego to Africa where he could feel his “roots.”

“This is the type of energy we’re putting into the album, so we’re going to Africa in two weeks to record,” Ye explained. “I felt this energy when I was in Chicago. I felt the roots. We have to go to what is known as Africa. I just need to go and find out what it’s really called and just really grab the soil and be and cook food.

“[I want to] have the mic in the open so you can hear nature while we’re recording. We’re going to bring out the album on what is known as Black Friday.”

Those plans are evidently underway.

Asian Doll Links With Gucci Mane & Yung Mal For "1017" Anthem

“At the end of the day, my goal is to always get better and better,” Asian Doll tells Billboard. What I want my fans to see is that I’m constantly improving. I’m growing. I’m competing with my latest tapes and it’s really a competition with myself, basically. I just really want to keep going. I’d say each ‘tape is different type of music from me, and So Icy Princess is more hype, fun and exciting overall. It reminds me of when I first came out. Prince’s Estate Insists Donald Trump Stop Using "Purple Rain" During His Rallies

Prince would likely roll over in his grave if he heard Donald Trump using his music at his political rallies. Therefore, the Prince Estate has taken measures to prevent 45 from blasting “Purple Rain” during his events.

According to the Star Tribune, the Prince Estate issued a statement via Twitter.

“The Prince Estate has never given permission to President Trump or the White House to use Prince’s song and have requested that they cease all use immediately,” the statement read.

The message was reportedly sent on behalf of the estate by longtime Prince associate Jeremiah Freed — otherwise known as Dr. Funkenberry — and it was retweeted by Prince’s half- brother, Omarr Baker.

Trump played the song during a rally in South Haven, Mississippi just last week.

This has becoming a growing trend among artists of similar stature. Steven Tyler’s lawyer fired off cease and desist letters after Trump played several of Aerosmith’s songs, while The Rolling Stones also issued a letter during the 2016 campaign after Trump used “Start Me Up.”

“Purple Rain” marked a defining moment in Prince’s career. It’s included on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s list of 500 songs that shaped rock and roll.

In 2016, it re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 following his death, peaking at No. 4.

Here’s 1st Look At Live-Action ”Aladdin” Film Starring Will Smith

Disney gave fans a first-look at the live-action version of the 1992 animated film Aladdin on Thursday (October 11). The film stars Will Smith as the genie, who was originally voiced by the late Robin Williams.

Though we (understandably) don’t get to see Smith in the trailer, we do see director Guy Ritchie’s take on the cave of wonders, where Aladdin — the diamond in the rough — finds the magic lamp.
