Fresh off the release of the Tangerine Tiger album, RiFF RAFF took to social media to air out an alleged extortion plot. The self-proclaimed Peach Panther claimed he’s dealing with a $1 million scheme, which he’s been hiding from his friends and family over the past four years.

In the post’s caption, RiFF RAFF said he’s hired private detectives. He also noted that police have purportedly uncovered the people behind the scam. At the end of his video, he made a cryptic plea to his family and friends.

“If anything ever happens to me, make sure to take care of my huskies,” he stated.

Hours later, he posted another video of a necklace blinged out with multi-colored stones and reiterated his intentions to not pay the extortionists.

Waka Flocka Is Open To Gucci Mane Reunion

Waka Flocka is done with beef. Flockavelli has declared he’s no longer harboring any ill will towards others, including his mentor-turned-rival Gucci Mane.

In a video posted on Instagram, Waka spoke about a potential reunion with Gucci and expressed his desire to have a conversation with his former collaborator. He appeared to put the onus on Guwop though, telling the prolific rapper to call him.

Waka and Gucci have been at odds for years. In 2017, Waka addressed their feud during an interview on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Kanye West Delays "Yandhi" Album Again

Kanye West’s Yandhi album has been delayed for a second time. The G.O.O.D. Music founder announced the latest delay via Twitter on Monday night (November 12).

“It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi,” he wrote. “After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding.”

Yandhi was scheduled to drop on November 23. Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian revealed the release date in October after her husband failed to release the album as he originally planned.

Earlier this year, Kanye claimed Yandhi would drop on September 29. The LP’s arrival was supposed to coincide with his appearance on Saturday Night Live, which generated controversy due to Yeezy’s pro-Trump diatribe at the end of the episode.

After the album failed to drop, Kanye said he was going to Africa to finish it. Apparently, the trip wasn’t very productive.

Comic Book Legend Stan Lee Passes Away At 95

Hollywood, CA – Comic book legend Stan Lee passed away on Monday morning (November 12) at the age of 95. Lee’s daughter J.C. confirmed the news to TMZ. 

After an ambulance was dispatched to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home, he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he later died. While his official cause of death hasn’t been announced, Lee has suffered numerous illnesses over the years.

Lee got involved in the comic book world in the late 1930s. He starting branding his work as Marvel Comics in 1961, the same year the company released The Fantastic Four alongside other superhero titles created by Steve Ditko, Lee, Jack Kirby and others.

The Walt Disney Company acquired Marvel Entertainment — Marvel Worldwide’s parent company — in 2009.

Lee was known for making cameo appearances in most of the Marvel films. Most recently, he popped up in Venom. HipHopDX can also confirm he makes what would become one of his last cameos in the upcoming Ralph Breaks The Internet film.

The latest installment in the Spider-Man’s franchise, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, will be released next month.

Lee is survived by his daughter. Joan —his wife of 69 years — died last year.

“My father loved all of his fans,” J.C. told TMZ. He was the greatest, most decent man.”

Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nas, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Rae Sremmurd, Pharrell, Gucci Mane and Young Thug are among the stacked lineup of contributors. The non-Hip Hop contingent includes Ella Mai, Bon Iver and Creed II star Tessa Thompson.

Mike WiLL Made-It has been put in charge of the Creed II soundtrack. According to Variety, the acclaimed producer has curated the music for the highly anticipated sequel to Creed.

“I approached the music by first watching Creed II and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie,” Mike WiLL told Variety. “It’s important to show the new generation that soundtracks can be just as exciting as traditional albums if put in the hands of the right curator. After people hear the music, I want them to say movie soundtracks are back.”

As executive producer, Mike WiLL is collaborating with composer Lugwig Göransson as well as music supervisors Fam Rothstein and Jen Malone. Creed II star Michael B. Jordan expressed his excitement about having the Ear Drummers Entertainment founder involved in the movie.

“I’ve always been a fan of Mike WiLL’s production,” Jordan noted. “I knew we were in store for something crazy and refreshing when we brought him in to curate the Creed II soundtrack.”

Creed II hits theaters on November 21. Its soundtrack will be released through Interscope Records.
