J. Cole Fails To Figure Out Instagram Live

Instagram – J. Cole experienced some technical difficulties during a recent Instagram Live session with singer-songwriter Ari Lennox. During the conversation, things were smooth until he tried to hop off. He simply couldn’t figure out how to close the session.

“I don’t even know how to work this shit,” he said with a laugh. “Oh wait, there’s a ‘X’ button right there.”

As Lennox continued to giggle, Cole ultimately gave up and said, “Just kick me out.”

Roughly 20,000 people witnessed Cole’s technological struggles but no one seemed to mind. Fans were hyped to get the “Middle Child” single from Cole earlier this week and learn his sixth studio album was on its way.

Dreamville Records confirmed the news on Thursday (January 24) in a press release. The forthcoming project will mark the follow-up to 2018’s KOD.

Don Q Unloads On Tory Lanez With "I’m Not Joyner" Diss Track

After teasing the track on Saturday morning (January 26), Don Q has unleashed his Tory Lanez “I’m Not Joyner” diss track.

Over Diddy’s 1998 cut “Victory” featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes, Q prefaces the track with, “We ain’t even gon’ play with you, not one bit, you feel me?/I thought about letting you live a little bit. But you gave me the gun, nigga.”

From there, Q goes into savage mode and doubles down on the accusations the Canadian-bred rapper stole his style.

“This is when it gets spicy, you went to Funk Flex and started spitting just like me,” he raps. “Speak up if I’m lying/You told me you watched my freestyle hundreds of times/I guess that’s why you sound like me in a couple of lines.”

Q ultimately threatens to physically handle him with, “Oh Tory rich?/I’ll line the kid up like Tori Brixx/I ain’t none of the backpack rap cats you done gone against/Put money, I’ll back slap and start snatching on Tory shit.”

It shouldn’t be too long before Lanez responds.

Until then, listen to “I’m Not Joyner” above.

Several artists took issue with Tory Lanez’s “I’m the best rapper alive”comment earlier this week — and Don Q is one of them. On Saturday morning (January 26), Q teased a diss track aimed at the Canadian-bred artist called “I’m Not Joyner.”

In the caption, he taunted Lanez with a “Come outside @torylanez” directive, while the cover art features Q holding Lanez’s neck in a noose while dangling over a city bridge.

As the title suggests, Q is referencing Lanez’s recent rap challenge with Lucas, which started after Lanez slighted the “I’m Not Racist” mastermind on Instagram. After exchanging a couple of diss tracks — including “Litty Freestyle” and “ZeZe” — they amicably settled the “beef.”

Meanwhile, Lanez has been instigating all kinds of social media drama with his unabashed bravado. Last month, he got into it with Slaughterhouse vet Royce Da 5’9 and told him to “suck my dick.” Although Nickel Nine didn’t respond well to the suggestion, they ultimately put it behind them without any diss tracks or physical altercations.

On Friday (January 25), Lanez baited Eminem and insisted he wasn’t “ducking” him either. Basically, he’s confident he could outrap anyone.

But apparently Q isn’t letting Lanez slide. In a recent Instagram video, Q accused Lanez of jacking his lyrics in true Soulja Boy fashion.

“Toryyyyyy?? The nigga that stole my style from bars to the beat…nigga u even wore the dad hat like me u been my son,” he captioned the video. “@torylanez RELAX YASELF #IMNOTJOYNER!!!”

Kanye West Sued For Allegedly Stiffing Japanese Company On $600K Yeezy Bill

Los Angeles, CA – Kanye West is accused of literally being too fashionably late on payments to a Japanese fabric supplier, and using fraudulent business tactics to duck the bill.

According to The Blast, Toki Sen-I Co. filed a lawsuit against the 41-year-old MC and his company Yeezy Apparel, LLC. on Thursday (January 24) for refusing to pay the company an outstanding balance of $624,051 for their fabrics to create his Yeezy sneakers.

In addition to Ye’s alleged non-agreement for alleged payment plan offers from Toki Sen-I, court documents also reveal that West is being accused by the company for creating a fake company so he wouldn’t become liable for the payments.

The company states that began their business relationship with him in 2015 to deliver samples for the next edition of his Yeezy sneakers and the transactions were smooth.

In June 2018, the relationship between the two parties became questionable when the company says Kanye placed a massive order for various fleece fabric materials, which were produced. Toki Sen says they did not receive a requested down payment from him for their work, but time passed as they trusted him based on their previous business history with him.

However, the principal amount was never paid.

Toki Sen-I claims that Yeezy Apparel is a “shell” and “sham” operating without capital assets or member interest, as West only uses the clothing and shoe company as a front for his personal gain.

Tyga Sued By Rapper For Allegedly Stealing "Swap Meet" Single

New Orleans, LA – No stranger to lawsuits, Tyga is currently being dragged into court by New Orleans rapper Pretty Maw for allegedly using parts of her song “17th” for his recent single “Swap Meet” without paying her, TMZ reports.

Maw states Tyga agreed to pay her a fixed amount including royalties but was never paid. She says Tyga convinced her to allow for him to use her likeness in the video and she even made an appearance at the end, which currently sits at over seven million views on YouTube.

Though Maw hasn’t named the similarities between “17th” and “Swap Meet,” she maintains Tyga “heavily” sampled her work. Now, Pretty Maw is asking for the “Taste” rapper to pay up.

In 2016, the former Young Money artist was sued by a previous landlord for defaulting on his rent and again last year for skipping out on a scheduled show in Dubai after pocketing the money.
