Twitter Has Changed Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Name To "Snitch9ine"

Twitter – Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing at least 47 years in prison after pleading guilty to nine federal counts stemming from his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. The controversial rapper has been reportedly cooperating with the feds, which roughly translates to snitching.

As so eloquently defined in the Urban Dictionary, a snitch is: “a guy/girl who gets arrested by the cops, and then decides to give up info that can land another person/friend in lock-up. And as a result, the snitch is let go — home free. Usually, that motherfucker gets his/her ass beat up and put into the hospital, or stabbed up or shot.”

The mother of 6ix9ine’s daughter, Sara Molina, believes his cooperation has possibly put her family in danger.

“He did what he did,” Molina told TMZ. “He made his bed and now he has to lie in it. But he didn’t think about how it was going to affect others. He’s only thinking about himself in the situation. I’m left to pick up the pieces of whatever mess he’s made, which is and has always been a thing … my job is to protect my daughter at all costs and even if that means him.”

Now, Twitter has come up a whole new name for 6ix9ine. A “Snitch9ine” hashtag started making the rounds on Friday (February 1) shortly after parts of his plea hearing transcript were released.

6ix9ine was originally facing up to life in prison prior to the most recent turn of events in his case. Even if he does receive only the minimum sentence of 47 years, he’ll be — yep! — 69 years old when he’s released.

The 22-year-old is expected to be sentenced in January 2020.

Cardi B Admits She Had "Mixed Feelings" About Turning Down Super Bowl LIII Gig

Atlanta, GA – Unlike Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi, the always outspoken Cardi B opted not to perform at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show this weekend. In a new interview with the Associated Press, the platinum-selling rapper says she declined the NFL’s offer to show her support for former San Francisco 49er quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick.

But Cardi admits she had “mixed feelings” about turning down such a lucrative gig. She explained her (somewhat) estranged husband Offset is right there with her despite his passion for the game.

“My husband, he loves football,” she said. “His kids play football. It’s really hard for him. … He really wants to go to the Super Bowl, but he can’t go to the Super Bowl, because he’s got to stand for something. You have to sacrifice that. I got to sacrifice a lot of money to perform. But there’s a man who sacrificed his job for us, so we got to stand behind him.”

Atlanta!! See ya this Saturday!!

Although Cardi isn’t performing at the Super Bowl LIII, she has booked a few Super Bowl-related events and appears in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial, something that has raised a few eyebrows. But apparently she has her reasons.

“I hear people saying like, ‘Oh, y’all are saying all this stuff about the Super Bowl, but you’re doing all these parties,’” she said. “And it’s like, well, if the NFL could benefit off from us, then I’m going to benefit off y’all. Y’all make the most money off our people. Why am I not going to take advantage of y’all and take money from y’all too? Because of y’all, we are getting these parties. OK, thank you.”

The Los Angeles Rams take on the New England Patriots on Sunday (February 3) at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Suge Knight Dubs Cardi B "The Female Version Of 2Pac"

Former Death Row CEO Suge Knight is currently behind bars serving a 28-year sentence for a fatal 2015 hit-and-run. But, the controversial Hip Hop figure spoke with DailyMail from the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego on Friday (February 1).

During the interview, Knight revealed there are enough unreleased Tupac Shakur songs to make an album. He also compared the slain rap legend to Cardi B.

“[It’s] not that they was bad songs but those are songs that ‘Pac didn’t want to be out on an album or want to be out,” Knight said. “When it’s time to do a real Tupac album, you get the right people that work with him, that he would work with, you know, like Drake or … Beyoncé likes Tupac music.

“He would definitely appreciate to see her with him and Cardi B is probably the most aggressive entertainer in the biz today. And I think she’s the female version of Tupac. Tupac with a skirt. Yeah.”

Knight also addressed his son’s recent comments about ‘Pac being alive and “in the studio.” Last month, Suge Knight Jr. shared several Instagram post insisting ‘Pac was working on new music.

“For me personally, there were sightings,” he said. “I knew my son was one of those times.”

This ain’t a joke. #NewDeathRow ??/?? Coming soon.

A post shared by Suge J Knight (@sugejknight) on Jan 18, 2019 at 3:11pm PST

Elsewhere in the interview, Knight looked back on a conversation he had with ‘Pac back in 1996, where the late Hip Hop luminary discussed faking his own death to avoid prison.

“He had a real horrible time,” he said. “He wasn’t happy in prison, so he felt that he would never go back to prison no matter what. And then the other thing was that his nickname was Makaveli. Everybody did know that. He was all about Makaveli, and as you know Makaveli faked his death so he was always talking about faking his death before he would go back to prison.”

Knight won’t be eligible for parole until 2037.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Reportedly Cooperating With Feds But Still Faces At Least 47 Years In Prison

New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine was reportedly doing a whole lot of talking following his arrest last November. TMZ reports the polarizing rapper is cooperating with the feds in hopes of receiving a lighter sentence.

In a transcript from 6ix9ine’s hearing last week, he admits he joined the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in 2017. He also confesses he helped members of the gang attempt to kill a rival to “increase my own standing in Nine Trey” last March. A month later, he says he and other members of the gang robbed a rival at gunpoint.

6ix9ine was also open about the Chief Keef shooting and cops to paying someone.

“I paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him,” he says in the transcript. “The shooting took place in Manhattan. I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey.” He also says he knew a fellow gang member was the triggerman.

But that’s not all. 6ix9ine also confirmed he sold a kilo of heroin in 2017 while offering an apology for all his crimes.

“I apologize to the Court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends and fans for what I have done and who I have let down,” he says.

Despite his cooperation, 6ix9ine could still be facing a minimum of 47 years and at least a $10 million fine unless the feds press for leniency.

On Friday (February 1), it was reported 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to nine counts, including racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses and narcotics trafficking.

Kanye West Reportedly Settles $84M Class Action Lawsuit Over "The Life of Pablo" Rollout

Los Angeles, CA – Kanye West and TIDAL reached a deal in the case of The Life of Pablo‘s alleged “deceptive marketing” Tuesday (January 29), The Fashion Law reports.

Justin Baker-Rhett, who entered an $84 million suit against West and the streaming service in April of 2016, filed documents informing the court that a settlement had been reached between all parties for an undisclosed amount.

In the original suit, Baker-Rhett claimed he was duped into believing TLOP would only be available on TIDAL based on a now-deleted tweet from Yeezy hailing from February 2016.

“My album will never never never be on Apple,” West tweeted.

Nearly a month after Ye declared the project’s exclusivity, it was released to Apple Music and Spotify. Consequently, a class action for $84 million was filed.

A year into the legal battle, Kanye made a request for the case to be dismissed. He cited his own tweet from March 2016 which described TLOP as a “living breathing changing creative expression.”

Baker-Rhett’s lawyer, Jay Edelson, wasn’t going for it.

“We fully support the right of artists to express themselves freely and creatively,” Edelson stated. “However creative freedom is not a license to mislead the public. We believe that we will be able to prove to a jury that Mr. West and TIDAL tricked millions of people into subscribing to their services and that they will ultimately be held accountable for what they did.”

By the summer, West was publicly begging for TIDAL and Apple Music to abandon the idea of exclusive drops.

TIDAL reportedly added 2.5 million subscribers with the release of Kanye’s seventh studio album.

The JAY-Z-backed streaming platform also reported that Ye’s project streamed over 250 million times within the first 10 days of its release however, these figures are currently under investigation by Norwegian authorities, along with Beyonce‘s Lemonade.

Now, West can focus on being let out his contract with Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI Publishing.
