Offset Calls Chris Brown A “Coke Head” In Response To Fade Invitation

It didn’t take long for Offset to respond to Chris Brown’s Instagram tirade. Shortly after Breezy challenged the Migos rap star to a fight, Offset responded with a few words of his own, insinuating Brown was a drug addict.

“Coke head don’t want no [smoke],” he wrote in one of his Instagram Stories.

The two artists have run into issues before. In 2017, members of their respective crews got into a heated confrontation during BET Awards weekend in Los Angeles.

Migos were reportedly greeted by those in Brown’s entourage as they approached the venue. Witnesses said someone shoved Quavo and when another member of Migos’ crew attempted to intervene, the person was punched.

TMZ captured video of the altercation. Revisit the footage below.

Chris Brown had some choice words for Offset after the Migos rapper hopped in his Instagram comments and called him a “lame.” On Wednesday (February 6), the RB superstar replied to Offset’s comment with a string of profanity-laced insults.

“FUCK YOU LIL BOY,” he wrote in all caps. “BETTER WORRY ABOUT WHAT U GOT GOING AND FOCUS ON ‘YOU.’ All this cap on IG IS WHATS LAME. #ChrisBrown wants ALL the smoke with #Offset for coming at him for posting a #21Savage meme. ?

A post shared by East Coast Renaissance (@ecrenaissance) on Feb 6, 2019 at 4:41pm PST

The war of words kicked off earlier this week when Brown posted a video of 21 Savage rapping with a British accent. As the entire Hip Hop community knows, 21 was arrested by ICE on Sunday (February 3) and it was revealed the 26-year-old rapper is actually from the U.K.

Naturally, a flurry of memes and GIFs followed and Offset wasn’t having it. He commented on Brown’s post, “Memes ain’t funny lame.”

That was evidently enough to infuriate Breezy who promptly unleashed on Offset. So far, the ATLien has yet to reply.

Tory Lanez Throws Rapping Out The Window After Hearing Clip Of Dax’s Diss Record

Burbank, CA – Since declaring himself the best rapper alive, everyone seems to have something to say about Canadian rapping crooner Tory Lanez. Never one to shy from musical confrontation — even shaming others for ducking him — it appears he isn’t willing to take the smoke being offered by rising Burbank, California, rapper Dax.

In response to a clip of a Tory Lanez diss posted via Dax’s Instagram story on Monday (February 4), followed up with a message indicating that had he not been busy he would have “ended” that rapper right there and then, Tory sent a DM letting Dax know that he wasn’t going to get the response he was looking for.

Dear @torylanez … “RAP IS A SPORT”. NOTHING PERSONAL. You said were the best. I DISSagree. I respect you my Canadian brother. And for this reason I will let the PEOPLE decide whether or not I should drop the track. COMMENT BELOW PLEASE ?? #dropORnah #legendary #fortheculture #nothing2something

A post shared by Dax (@thatsdax) on Feb 5, 2019 at 3:01pm PST

“I don’t know what ur tactic is … I don’t know you. And I’m not in the mood for none of this shit,” he wrote Dax, adding “not everything is going to end with a rap battle.”

Dax responded in the caption of the post — making the DM public — noting “RAP IS A SPORT”. NOTHING PERSONAL.

“You said were the best. I DISSagree,” he continued. “I respect you, my Canadian brother. And for this reason, I will let the PEOPLE decide whether or not I should drop the track.”

Well, it appears the “Daxnation” has spoken, and despite the crytic threat from Tory, a diss record, titled “I’m Not Joyner or Don Q” is on the way — and according to Dax himself, it’s going to be a tough act to follow.

“I am not a rapper to war with,” he writes. “I will surgically pick you apart with all facts that will have you questioning your existence and purpose on this earth.”

Adding that this will set the tone for his career, he says that the diss, which he has labeled as one of the top 10 of all time, will blow every other response lobbed his way thus far out of the water.

@thatsdax is about to drop a heavy diss track… ?

“Don Q let you live, Joyner murdered you, I cut you up limb by limb,” he raps before the clip cuts out on a newer preview of the record posted via his story on Tuesday (February 5). While a set drop date isn’t available, it will be interesting to see whether Tory will let Dax get under his skin.

Eminem Embraces His Rapping Internet Troll

Twitter – Comedian Chris D’Elia has caught Eminem’s attention after posting a YouTube video of himself imitating the Detroit-bred rap giant.

On Tuesday night (February 5), Slim Shady sent out a tweet promoting D’Elia’s video, which he apparently shot in his dingy garage.

“This is INCREDIBLE!!!” he wrote in the caption. “4 a second I actually thought it WAS me!!”

Shady’s caption is likely a tongue-in-cheek response to the YouTube description on the video.

“WOW Eminem goes SO fucking hard,” it reads. “Rare footage I just dug up from him in the cypher. Once again proving he is the GOAT! #eminem.”

This isn’t D’Elia’s first Eminem parody. Last year, he dropped another freestyle from his car, which has since racked up 3 million views.

D’Elia has already responded to Em’s tweet, writing, “You’re the man for this. And for everything before this.” He ended his sentiments with a goat emoji.

The latest video, which was published last week, has racked up over 340,000 views as of publication time. Let’s see what the Shady bump does for D’Elia this round.

Keak Da Sneak’s Wife Petitions For House Arrest Before He Checks Into Prison

Jackson, CA – Keak Da Sneak is expected to begin a 16-month prison sentence on Thursday (February 7) for a non-violent offense. The Bay Area rap legend, who is confined to a wheelchair after being shot in 2017, requires around-the-clock care, which his wife Dee Bowens fears he won’t receive behind bars.

Bowens is currently Keak’s full-time caregiver, but he also requires specialized care from nurses. Bowens has launched a Change.org petition to ask California Governor Gavin Newsom and State Representative Tom McClintock to allow Keak to serve his time under house arrest rather than in prison.

Keak shared the petition on Tuesday (February 5) via Twitter.

“This issue is bigger than me,” Keak says in the petition. “Our penitentiary system lacks any compassion for those with disabilities and it is not equipped to handle our care. I’m lucky to have people in my corner that are making this an issue. Other people aren’t so lucky, who’s looking out for them?”

Bowens adds, “Prison is dangerous, he cannot defend himself and has already been the victim of two shootings. There’s really no reason for a disabled, non-violent offender to have to do his time in jail.”

At the time of publication, Keak’s petition has received over 37,000 signatures.

“Last year the movement to save Meek Mill garnered over 425,000 signatures,” Director of Change.org Michael Jones says. “Keak’s petition is at over 35,000 in less than a week. The hip hop community’s outcry is forcing officials to really take a closer look at how our criminal justice system works.”

On January 28, Keak attended a hearing and learned he will begin serving his 16-month sentence for one count of possession of a firearm as a felon on February 7.

[This article has been updated. The original version was posted on January 28, 2019 and can be found below.]

Keak Da Sneak nearly lost his life in January 2017 after several men attempted to rob him in Oakland. After the altercation, the assailants started firing their guns. The Bay Area staple was sitting passenger side and came extremely close to getting killed. Following the incident, he decided to get a gun despite being a convicted felon.

But according to KQED, he’s been the target of multiple violent attacks and felt he had to have a way to defend himself. On Monday (January 28), Keak attended a hearing and learned he will begin serving his 16-month sentence for one count of possession of a firearm as a felon on February 7.

Keak was originally supposed to start his sentence following the hearing, but Amador County Superior Court Judge J.S. Hermanson gave him additional time to complete a medical procedure.

In March 2017, Keak was caught with the weapon while coming home from a night of gambling at a casino in Amador County, a rural area east of Sacramento. The latest census report says the population is 89 percent white.

“It was really racial profiling at an all-time high,” he said.

A police officer ran his license plate at a gas station and discovered he was on probation because of a prior firearm charge. That’s when the officer decided to search his car where he discovered the gun.

Consequently, the Amador County district attorney charged Keak with possession of a firearm as a felon, possession of ammunition as a felon, receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended or revoked license and possession of a controlled substance.

A post shared by Keak da Sneak (@officialkeakdasneak) on Jul 13, 2018 at 7:55am PDT

Shortly after the criminal case began, Keak was involved in another shooting in August 2017 outside of a Richmond gas station. Much like the shooting in Oakland, he was the victim of another attempted robbery.

“The first bullet busted the window and hit me in the face, grazed my face,” he said. “It made me put my arms up and guard my head, so I got shot all in my side, abdomen, my elbows, my sides. When the gunfire stopped, I couldn’t feel my legs.”

Keak woke up two days later at Oakland’s Highland Hospital. He now has to use a wheelchair full-time, see a nurse three times a week and use a colostomy bag. Although he put up a legal battle for two years, prosecutors refused to consider house arrest as a part of his plea bargain.

“It feels like they had no compassion,” he said. “My health is not good. I know they’re not gonna give me the treatment I need in prison. I’ve been to jail before, and once you get behind these walls, they have no compassion. You have to be on your dying bed for them to give you some assistance.

“Am I gonna get the treatment I’m getting out here? I don’t think so. I’ve been to jail with people who were sick and really doing bad, and the guards and deputies didn’t care about them at all. They came and beat on them because they were pushing the button like, ‘I need help, I need help.’”

During Keak’s time behind bars, he hopes to be able to take care of his kids with his music.

“It got me doing a lot of recording right now, so while I’m gone I can be dropping music to take care of my family,” he said. “I have a lot of people in my corner, on my side. They feel like it’s biased, the way they’re treating me. If I was another race, they wouldn’t be doing me like this.”

Keak is expected to be released sometime around June 2020.
