"Duppy Freestyle" Lyrics IRL: Drake Sends Good Music $100K Invoice For Aiding Pusha T’s "Career Reviving"

Toronto, Canada – In the closing lines of Drake’s now viral diss to Pusha T, “Duppy Freestyle,” the OVO mastermind quipped, “Tell [Kanye] we got an invoice coming to you/Considering that we just sold another 20 for you.”

The fadeaway lyrics signified Drake predicted his SoundCloud drop (which, as of press time, has amassed more than two million plays in just a few hours) would bring even more attention to Pusha T’s newly released album, DAYTONA, which closed things out with the song “Infrared,” a clear swipe at Drizzy.

Pusha T wasted no time responding amidst the Twitter fever, with the retort, “Send the invoice for the extra 20…”

But like Drake rapped in on “Duppy Freestyle,” he was in album mode and immediately posted a photo of an invoice requesting Pusha’s manager and Def Jam Executive VP Head Of AR Steve Victor to cough up $100,000 in exchange for “promotional assistance and career reviving.”

You’re welcome. ?

The recent spat between Drake and Pusha T was sparked after the Good Music President referenced the ghostwriting claims heard ’round the world with the interpolated JAY-Z lyrics, “The game’s fucked up/ Niggas’ beats is banging nigga, ya hooks did it/ The lyric pennin’ equal to Trump’s winnin’/ The bigger question is how the Russians did it/ It was written like Nas/ But it came from Quentin.”
