With Ice Cube’s “You Can Do It” playing in the background, the camera pans to each character: Craig, Smokey, Felicia, Joi, Deebo, Big Worm, Mrs. Betty Jones, Mr. Willie Jones, Day Day, Suga, Baby Joker, Baby D, Black Santa, Mrs. Pearly and finally, Damon Pearly.

Friday takes place in South Central Los Angeles and follows the chronically unemployed Craig around the city as he encounters all kinds of shenanigans.
