Los Angeles Police Think They’ve Determined Master P’s Daughter’s Cause Of Death

Los Angeles, CA – As Master P continues to mourn the death of his 29-year-old daughter Tytyana Miller, the Los Angeles Police Department is trying to determine her cause of death. According to TMZ, initial evidence supports a fatal overdose. Drug paraphernalia was discovered at the scene although whatever substance she was using was absent.

Meanwhile, an autopsy has been been completed, but toxicology results will take several weeks. In Master P’s initial Instagram post about Miller’s death, he suggested drugs and mental illness played a role in her premature passing.

“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” he wrote. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support. Mental illness substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”

Tytyana Miller opened up about her struggles with addiction in a 2016 episode of WEtv’s Growing Up Hip Hop. In a clip of the episode, Master P and his son Romeo Miller try to encourage her to seek treatment.

“That trip really opened my mind to see how I would miss you the most because you were always here for me,” Tatyana says. “I just thought that the trip stopped me from ever wanting to be in Hollywood seen with those celebrity friends. I feel like I don’t need to go to rehab. I feel like I could do good without rehab.”

Master responds, “You say that Tata, but on the serious side, I think we should get some professional help just to make sure you stay on track. Let’s not say you don’t want to go to rehab. I think you should at least try because I don’t want you to go back to this.”

While it may be too late for Tytyana Miller, Master P has vowed to dedicate part of his life to helping others who are wrestling with addiction.

“I put my faith and trust in God, I realize that no person is exempt from pain or death,” he added. “Every day families are dealing with the loss of their loved ones due to mental illness and substance abuse.

“I have committed to invest my time, resources and passion to help other families affected by these same issues. Our healing process will not end in grief, we will celebrate my daughter’s life. Tytyana was inspiring, uplifting, artistic and a loving person who deeply cared for others.”
